The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes hit the highway to Jacksonville as they look to do what the San Francisco 49ers could not a week ago: Take care of the football.
The Jaguars figure to be in for a rude awakening tonight against a Chiefs offense that looks a lot better with Xavier Worthy in the lineup. Worthy is playing tonight, and that should make enough of a difference against a Jaguars defense that struggled against the 49ers a week ago.
Trevor Lawrence will likely lean on the running game, as the Chiefs defense has struggled to stop the run to begin the season. Lawrence got away with a few mistakes last week. Even at home, I don’t think he’ll be as lucky against the Chiefs.
This is a series the Chiefs have comfortably won since they’ve had Patrick Mahomes. The strength of schedule should catch up to the Jaguars tonight.
