A couple of weeks ago SB Nation did a FanPulse to see how San Francisco 49er fans felt about the upcoming 2019 season. 85% expect the team to at least be in the playoff hunt. Today we are back with more FanPulse results. This time around SB Nation polled fans in the NFC West on who they think would win the division. The results aren’t surprising. The overwhelming amount may be, though.
Man. I don’t think anybody would expect to overtake the Rams, unless it was a perfect storm situation. I do think the Niners are worlds better than the Arizona Cardinals. Those two shouldn’t be that close, but this makes sense. Fans only remembered the last thing that they saw. The 49ers had all kinds of injuries to end the season. Fans of the other three teams aren’t taking into account the free agents the team has signed, not to mention the potential of this draft class.
At first it was a little surprising that Seahawks was so high then I remembered the delusion in the air at the coffee shops in Seattle. If all teams are healthy, it’s the Niners in second place, right?
