In the latest wave of free agency, the San Francisco 49ers made another addition to their secondary with the NFL draft looming. On Thursday, the 49ers added veteran corner Rock Ya-Sin to a one-year contract, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.

Ya-Sin is coming off a season with the Baltimore Ravens, where he played in 14 games with one start. Ya-Sin has played five seasons in the NFL since being drafted at the top of the second round in the 2019 NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts.

The former Temple Owl played three seasons with the Colts before stops with the Las Vegas Raiders and Ravens.

In 66 career games, Ya-Sin has snagged two interceptions to go along with 29 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and 196 tackles.

Following the 49ers signing of Ya-Sin, members of the NFL and 49ers community on Twitter chimed in on Twitter with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying about Ya-Sin
