Sometimes following the 49ers closely makes it tough to not view some aspects of their season through red and gold-colored glasses.
To shake off some of the potential biases that may be baked into our pre-season predictions, we went to the opposing editors for the NFL Wire site of each 49ers opponent this year to get their thoughts on their team’s matchup against San Francisco. It turns out their predictions come through whatever colored glasses their team inherently pushes onto their faces, because the result is ugly for a 49ers team with playoff aspirations.
