Runyan is an athletic tackle that will compete with Bobby Hart. The right side needed rebuilding, with the addition of Ruiz, the right side could be Michigan men. He also has NFL bloodlines, as his father was in the league 14 years and made 192 starts, if Junior can do half that, it was a successful pick.

Another guy that flashed at the Senior Bowl. Usually, when you get to the 6th Rd, you’re looking at guys with good production, but without ideal traits or vice versa. Pleasantly surprised to find a guy here that looks to bring at least a bit of both things. He had the 5th fastest 40 among the DL participants at the combine and has a spider graph that makes you pretty excited to think about what he’ll look like after adding 10 pounds of muscle in an NFL strength program. An outstanding athlete he played as a TE in high school, transitioned to Dline, and was named a team captain as a Sophomore. He would drop into coverage at South Carolina but looks to be more of a situational
