Brock Purdy and the 49ers’ offense continued their hot streak as every playmaker on offense was involved in Sunday’s win over the Bucs. Joe Montana was the last 49ers quarterback to have a perfect passer rating in 1989. That’s not bad company to be in as the former final pick in the draft.
Let’s take a look at the 49ers snaps and grades for Sunday, per PFF.
Quarterback – Brock Purdy 60 (82.6)
Purdy had one more incompletion than touchdown passes on Sunday. A stat line of 21/25, 333 yards, 13.3 YPA, three touchdowns, and the longest pass play this season in the NFL of 76 yards to Brandon Aiyuk. Purdy continues to shine in this offense, and the 49ers offense is back rolling and headed into Seattle on Thanksgiving.
Running Backs – Christian McCaffrey 52 (69.7), Kyle Juszczyk 25 (55.9), Elijah Mitchell 8 (65.9), Jordan Mason (60.0)
Christian McCaffrey’s touchdown drought ended at one game as Purdy connected with McCaffrey to open the scoring on Sunday. McCaffrey finished with 21 carries and 78 yards. Elijah Mitchell carried the ball four times for 24 yards – while the total is low, Mitchell did resemble the player from his rookie year much more on Sunday. Possible good news for the running back room moving forward.
Wide Receivers – Brandon Aiyuk 53 (87.6), Deebo Samuel 51 (67.9), Jauan Jennings 20 (52.0), Ronnie Bell 5 (59.2), Ray-Ray McCloud III 2 (57.8)
Brandon Aiyuk turned in a highlight reel play with his long touchdown catch from Purdy and finished with 156 yards on five catches. Samuel logged one carry for -1 yard and three receptions for 63 yards.
Tight End – George Kittle 58 (87.8), Charlie Woerner 22 (47.2), Ross Dwelley 2 (60.0)
Kittle continues his hot streak with 89 yards and a touchdown. That’s four straight games over 70 yards, including two 100-yard games. The offense is more fun when every playmaker is involved. Let the good times roll!
Offensive Line – Spencer Burford 60 (58.5), Jake Brendel 60 (56.4), Jon Feliciano 60 (56.4), Colton McKivitz 60 (59.5), Trent Williams 58 (74.8), Jaylon Moore 2 (60.0)
Trent Williams is rounding back into shape following his ankle injury and allowed only one pressure and hurry. Spencer Burford allowed a sack, three hurries, and four pressures. Burford finished with a 15.0 pass-blocking grade. Jake Brendel and Jon Feliciano both finished with three pressures. Colton McKivitz logged a 55.7 pass-blocking grade and finished with two hurries and pressures.
