Geno Smith fills in for Russell Wilson and takes on Pittsburgh

The Seattle Seahawks are on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers to cap the night off. The early game slate was a bit of a snoozer. The Broncos blew out the Raiders, and the Cardinals manhandled the Browns. Thankfully, we saw a great game between the Patriots and the Cowboys.

Kendrick Bourne was involved in two critical plays, including a long touchdown in the fourth quarter. I love seeing him make plays. Unfortuantely for Bourne and New England, the Dak Prescott and the Cowboys made far more plays. He’s unreal.

Can Geno Smith score? We’ll find that out. In my head, Smith is a downgrade, but he should play within Seattle’s offense and keep them ahead of the chains. I’m not sure if the Steelers should be 5.5.-point favorites against anybody, even with a backup quarterback.

Their defense can generate pressure, but it all comes back to Big Ben looking like it’s a struggle to push the ball 15 yards down the field. Enjoy the game, and go Pittsburgh!
