Training camp is right around the corner, and that usually means new San Francisco 49ers merchandise is on the way. This year, we have a few new Niners hats to pick from. There is a flex, adjustable, snapback for you cool kids, and, my favorite, the bucket hat.
I’m not sure how I feel yet about the line going through the middle of “49ers” and how the colors are different, but I love the simplicity, and that’s what these hats are. If I were to rank them, I’d go: bucket, adjustable, and flex/snapback can be tied for last. I’d wear the bucket hat to training camp, honestly. If you have spent hours outside in the summer, you can appreciate the value of a bucket hat, no matter how ridiculous it may look or how many people’s stories you end up on social media.
