The 49ers will begin training camp July 27 with 90 players on their roster. Those 90 will be vying for 53 spots on the active roster. A handful of them should also wind up on the team’s 16-player practice squad.

San Francisco will get to carry up to 90 players until August 16 when they’re required to cut down to 85. Then on August 23 they’ll drop to 80 players. Their 53-man roster must be named by the August 30 deadline.

This isn’t exactly how the 90-man roster will look throughout camp since there will always be tweaks as the team deals with bumps and bruises and players come available after cuts from other squads, but this is what the club’s 90-man will look like going into camp:
