In an offseason that’s been defined by the chaos of the Jimmy Garoppolo saga and Deebo Samuel trade request, the 49ers front office got a moment to celebrate Friday night after they selected USC defensive end Drake Jackson No. 61 overall.
Jackson, who was in Las Vegas but not attending the draft, spoke with general manager John Lynch, head coach Kyle Shanahan and owner Jed York after the selection.
