After a slow start to their highly-anticipated battle with the Philadelphia Eagles, Brock Purdy finally got the San Francisco 49ers’ offense rolling in the second quarter.

With completions to Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, paired with a strong run from Christian McCaffrey, the 49ers found themselves threatening in the red zone for the first time with under 8 minutes remaining in the second quarter.

While rolling out to the left, Purdy slung a ball to Brandon Aiyuk for the game’s first touchdown. While the play was review, it was rule a catch and a touchdown to give the 49ers their first lead of the game, 7-6.
