This is the best part about the draft
This is what I watch the draft for. Love seeing these guys react and spill out all their emotions. Like the tweet says, this is what it’s all about:

Samuel is an upgrade. That’s the best way to look at these draft picks. Is the player you are bringing in an upgrade from what is currently on the roster? The answer with this is yes.
Here’s Samuel receiving the call from 49ers general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan. He’s so emotional but it’s authentic.

Shanahan said “this is the way we hoped it worked out”, and it’s tough to think he’s not telling the truth based on everything we heard. Shoot, it seemed like Samuel was with the 49ers for a week. Through two rounds, it sure seemed like that was the case.
Shanahan took another toy in the 3rd round. Jalen Hurd, who the coach said can play RB/WR/TE. This feels like a Delanie Walker type role. A high-end athlete that is a moveable chess piece. Here is his phone call:
