Former South Carolina wide receiver Deebo Samuel wasn’t picked in the first round. He went early in Round 2 though, going to the 49ers with the fourth pick in the second round.
The outpouring of emotion from Samuel and the gathering of friends and family at his draft party was incredible. Here’s the video via Bleacher Report:

The wait to be drafted has to be agonizing, and the relief combined with the joy of being picked by an NFL team leads to the incredible emotional moments like that.
Perhaps the most amazing part is Samuel knew he was going there. He had the hat ready to go, but hearing the name officially announced is what sends the room into a frenzy of elation.
Today was a good day for Deebo.

There are a lot of cool parts of the NFL draft, but young kids realizing their NFL dreams and letting their emotions show is the best part.
