In a highly-anticipated matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, George Kittle and Brock Purdy set the tone early for the San Francisco 49ers. On the opening drive of the game, Purdy marched the 49ers down the field before setting up a touchdown pass to Kittle.
From 19 yards out, Purdy drilled Kittle streaking towards the corner of the endzone to give the 49ers an early lead on a statement drive to start Sunday Night Football. Kittle’s touchdown catch against the Cowboys marked his first score of the season.
