This is a tough decision.

Sure, we’re onto the 2019 NFL Draft, but the 2018 Draft is in the rear view mirror and we saw how some prospects impressed while others may not have lived up to the hype.

NFL.com writer Adam Rank had a “draft do-over” column where he redrafted every player based on the positions in the 2018 draft. The 49ers took Mike McGlinchey ninth, but in the do-over, Rank has them going pass-rusher Bradley Chubb.

The 49ers traded for Dee Ford this offseason, but they wouldn’t have had to make that move if Chubb had fallen to them last April. The N.C. State product would have solved much of their current pass-rushing needs. … Or they could’ve still traded for Ford and paired these two studs together. Whatever works.

McGlinchey fell to 21st, going to the Cincinnati Bengals.

I know I have the unpopular opinion, but I’d stick with McGlinchey. The 49ers needed to get the offensive line developed and McGlinchey was a great fit for Kyle Shanahan’s offense. Yes, Chubb would have been great, but I wonder what would happen to the 49ers offensive line with Trent Brown around for one more year, or if he’d even be around after 2018. I know that’s not really the point in the do-over, but it’s still influencing my opinion on why McGlinchey went.

The same time though, the 49ers getting Chubb would solve some pass rusher problems and would change the 2019 draft quite a bit. They could probably grab DT Quinnen Williams in 2019 and that defensive line would be stacked. Or they could trade back and get Alabama OL Jonah Williams for the void left by McGlinchey/Brown.

Who would you take in a 2018 Draft do-over?
