Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year, we ask questions of the most plugged-in Niners fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

We mentioned four potential concerns that San Francisco 49ers fans may have about the team ahead of training camp:

  • Health of star players returning from injury
  • Secondary talent
  • Schedule
  • Top-heavy roster

Whether it’s Mike Evans, George Kittle, or Nick Bosa, to name a few, the 49ers will forever be the team with the asterisk next to their name because of the injuries they’ve sustained.

If everybody stays healthy, the Niners are talented enough to make a deep playoff run and challenge anybody. But if one or two of their top players go down with an injury, you’re relying on somebody who is likely inexperienced.

The injury is correlated with having a top-heavy roster. The 49ers “get off the bus” team rivals any team in the NFL. But when you allocate as much funding as they have to the top 5% of their roster, it’s how you end up with questions at other positions, like in the secondary.

Lastly, there’s the schedule. We don’t know how the 49ers will react to having to travel all over the globe. A trip to New York sandwiched in between two NFC West games, plus a second half schedule that could end up looking even more challenging than it does today, is why that’s listed here.

What do you think? What’s the biggest concern you have about the team ahead of training camp?
