The responses are all over the place

We’ve talked about options at wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers today. I want to spin it. There are plenty of good players still available. Looking at the teams needs, the draft was always going to shape up well for them. The first-round was no different. With only two wide receivers taken off the board and one cornerback, the 49ers are sitting pretty at No. 36. There will be a run on the receiver position to start the second round. That’s what the talking heads are saying.

With that in mind, who are some players that you hope the Niners avoid tonight? Honestly, my two were selected in the first-round. I didn’t get the vibe from CB Deandre Baker that he was a difference maker. In the case of N’Keal Harry, I can see his value, but not being able to consistently separate will hurt. Tough to rely on a receiver that primarily wins contested situations.

When I asked the question on Twitter, the most popular answers were LSU CB Greedy Williams, and Ole Miss WR D.K. Metcalf. That was surprising. Another thing that’s surprising is not many folks are interested in offensive line. I wonder if that’s just because it’s not a flashy pick. Who would you avoid? If not players, now about positions?
