The 49ers’ 2019 draft class could be one of the most influential in the team’s history. We took a look at the entire eight-player class to come up with the best-case and worst-case scenarios for each pick.

Injuries are the obvious worst-case scenario for every athlete. We left those out of our doomsday situations for each 49ers draft pick, and instead focused on the things that could possibly go wrong football-wise.

Even Bosa’s worst-case scenario doesn’t seem terrible in a vacuum. His floor is probably a situational pass rusher who moves around the defensive line based on the situation. That’s obviously not what the 49ers were looking for with the No. 2 pick though. It could set the 49ers back several years if Bosa can’t stay on the field for three downs and get to the quarterback with regularity off the edge.
