The 49ers got one wide receiver back and lost another Saturday as they finalized their roster for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Demarcus Robinson was activated from injured reserve, where he had been since sustaining an ankle injury earlier this season. The move clears him to play at Levi’s Stadium.
Christian Kirk went the other direction. The veteran receiver was placed on IR with a meniscus injury in his right knee and will miss at least four weeks. It is his second stint on IR this season. He opened the year there with a calf injury and returned to the active roster ahead of the Oct. 25 game in Atlanta, but failed to log a reception.
San Francisco also elevated KhaDarel Hodge from the practice squad to the game-day roster. Defensive back Nate Hobbs was not activated from IR.
The Niners’ roster changes come as the 49ers (6-1) return from their bye week. They lead the NFC West and hold a 4-0 record at Levi’s Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:25 p.m. P.T., on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
The 49ers also have a new face on the defensive line. They acquired DT DeForest Buckner from the Colts on Oct. 27 for a 2027 fourth-round pick, a homecoming for the former No. 7 overall selection in 2016. He has four sacks this season.
