NFL: Cleveland Browns at Houston Texans

The Browns are rolling even without their QB1

We’re back to the usual with Thursday Night Football as the New York Jets take on the Cleveland Browns in a matchup that looks far different than originally expected at the beginning of the season.

The Jets, standing at 6-9, are starting Trevor Siemian at quarterback, with Brett Rypien backing him up.

On the other hand, the Browns, standing at 10-5, are starting Joe Flacco at quarterback, who has started the last four games, winning three.

Despite being 38 years old, Flacco is still slinging it, throwing for 1,307 yards, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions at a 59 percent completion rate through the four games.

After a five-game losing streak, the Jets are sensing some light recently, winning two of their last three games, but are still officially eliminated from playoff contention.

The Browns, meanwhile, are close to clinching a playoff spot, which would be a revelation after they lost Deshaun Watson for the year.

The total on this game is 33.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the Browns favored by 7 points. I’ll take the the under in a low-scoring slugfest here.
