Can Minnesota win with Jaren Hall?

The last time these two teams played, Kirk Cousins got the best of the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, 24-10. But that was before Cousins was lost for the season after he shredded most teams, 49ers included.

Now, Minnesota turns to Jaren Hall after Josh Dobbs and Nick Mullens threw their chances away. I’m not sure if that says more about Hall or the previous two.

This version of Jordan Love is far more competent, but the Packers are without cornerback Jaire Alexander, which could prove to be the difference. Green Bay has historically defended Jordan Jefferson well, but that’s when they had Alexander. Plus, cornerback Eric Stokes is out.

Despite the strides Love has made, he goes on the road in a difficult environment against a Brian Flores defense that has made life difficult for everybody. I wouldn’t expect much offensive output from the Packers without Christian Watson.

Even with Hall, the Vikings should score just enough to overcome the Packers.
