Which games will you be watching today?

We hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the holiday. Here’s a run-down of today’s games.

The Atlanta Falcons look to keep their playoff hopes alive in what feels like a must-win at home against the Indianapolis Colts. Taylor Heinicke is in, while quarterback Desmond Ridder goes back to the bench. It’s never a great sign when you have to bench a quarterback twice in one season.

But the Colts defense is laughably bad and despite the Falcons consistently giving games away during the past month, I think they win today.

The Green Bay Packers need to beat the Carolina Panthers if they want to remain a contender in the NFC. It’s a road game, but you can’t lose to the Panthers (cough, cough, Atlanta).

There are a couple of games that won’t see the screen today. The Cleveland Browns are traveling to the Houston Texans. No C.J. Stroud, so no, thank you. The New York Jets host the Washington Commanders. Both teams are out of playoff contention.

I’m not so sure that the Seahawks are a shoo-in to beat the 5-9 Tennessee Titans. Ryan Tannehill and Geno Smith are both under center, but it feels like a classic letdown spot for Seattle after an upset win last week.

Finally, Jared Goff is on the road as a favorite against a team that pressures the quarterback. I like the Minnesota Vikings to beat the Detroit Lions, as long as Nick Mullens doesn’t throw an interception to a player on the ground again.
