So far, so good
The 5-6 Green Bay Packers host the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. Jordan Love went from looking like a bottom-10 quarterback to a player confident, comfortable, and in command of the Packers offense.
Green Bay has won three out of four and looks to continue that trend against a Chiefs defense who tends to play to the level of its competition.
Kansas City is a great team, and this may be their best chance at sustaining success, but they don’t have the weapons offensively that scare you as Travis Kelce is no longer the dominant force he once was. Besides him, the Chiefs rely on a rookie wide receiver.
The Packers aren’t the ‘85 Bears, so Mahomes will have success. But if they can limit him to field goals, Green Bay has a chance to pull off the upset if Love takes care of the ball. The Chiefs are on the road and favored by six. I like Green Bay to keep it within a score.
